The Story

Ellertsson is an independent singer-songwriter from Reykjavík, Iceland. His music draws on Americana, country, folk, and blues — songs about roads, love, and life, shaped by the Icelandic landscape and a lifelong fascination with American roots music.

The songs live somewhere between North and South: northern light, open roads, acoustic guitars, and stories meant to last. Ellertsson began writing songs as a teenager, and the same instinct still guides the music today — keep it honest, leave room for the story, and let the song find its own road.
